BA NIA Inc. advances reproductive justice and health equity for BIPOC women + birthing people in Chicago. We fight alongside communities for bodily autonomy, racial equity, and systemic change, offering culturally grounded birthing /doula” assistance, childbirth education, and holistic prenatal + postnatal care at every stage of life.

For more than 30 years, BA NIA has fought alongside communities to change systems and improve Black maternal and infant health outcomes.

Our Story

Supporting Families Before, During, and After Birth

BA NIA provides a range of birthing and maternal health services to support families regardless of socioeconomic status, including childbirth education + preparation classes, prenatal + postnatal yoga for wellness + body awareness, birthing / “doula” assistance, breastfeeding guidance + lactation support, infant massage classes, and baby naming + cultural ceremonies.
